Building musical instruments is a unique handcraft and wood is a fascinating natural product. To work it, form it and to coax sounds from it takes not only skill and expertise, it is also a "calling". As we say in German, this calling was laid with me in the cradle. In my father`s workshop I learned th instrument builder`s craft from the first wood shaving to the master`s examination. Our father Benedikt founded the instrument building firm in 1956 in Kitzbühel, Austria. Based on his eyperiaence and the knowledge acquired through decades of instrument development, we ar following in his footsteps and continuing his work. We are supported by a team of professionally trained specialists and are nestled in a region which boasts of a long and continuos tradition of ztiher and hammered dulcimer playing and building. Thes elements combine to produce instruments which are known and in demand world wide.
